Does SOS work on a Flex plan during a period of suspension?
The SOS feature will only be available on the device with an active subscription. The SOS feature will not be available when the service is suspended.
Can I cancel an SOS message?
Yes! Lift the protective SOS cover, long press the SOS button for 3 seconds and follow the onscreen instructions. You can also cancel SOS by selecting the Cancel SOS on the SOS screen and following the onscreen instructions.
Do check-in and SOS messages count towards my messaging limit?
Both the SOS and Check-in message do not count towards your messaging limit.
Does the SOS message take priority in the messaging queue?
Yes, the SOS message will always abort other messages in the messaging queue.
What happens if I press the SOS button?
FocusPoint International, Inc. provides the SOS/911 monitoring included in your Basic Service. Your device will send FocusPoint International Inc. your GPS coordinates every 2.5 minutes. Once acknowledged, your GPS location is provided every 5 minutes.
