Hard Reset your SPOT X

If SPOT X is frozen and/or inoperable, follow these steps to perform a reset. NOTE: This is not the same as a Factory Reset.

Press and hold both the Select button and the Power button until the screen goes blank (for approximately 12 seconds)
Display will show "Do you want to power off your device", ignore this command and continue to hold the buttons until the screen goes blank
At this point, stop pressing the buttons.
The unit will reset itself and should clear any temporary bugs.
