How to Manage your SPOT SOS Settings
To update your SOS contacts and add important information that will assist the emergency response team during an SOS
- Login to your SPOT My Account https://myaccount.findmespot.com/login
- Go to My Devices and select your SPOT device (Multiple device accounts, first click on EDIT SETTINGS)
- Enter the SOS Settings tab
- Verify or edit the PRIMARY EMERGENCY CONTACT: This person will be contacted if the SPOT USER is unavailable during an SOS
- Verify or edit the SECONDARY EMERGENCY CONTACT: This person will be contacted if the PRIMARY emergency contact is unavailable during an SOS
- Contact options may be attempted by the emergency response team including phone calls, email, SMS and other.
- In the Additional Information box, enter/modify any information that will be helpful in case of an SOS. Some examples are health concerns, transportation type, approximate location(s) and/or any other useful information to assist in a rescue situation.
- Select SAVE
