Will I have to reset Trace tracking after 24 hours?
No. Once powered on, the SPOT Trace will track continuously until the device loses power, batteries are exhausted, or the device is powered off.
When the Trace detects that it has not moved for 5 minutes, the SPOT Trace will enter rest mode and will not send GPS locations. Tracking will automatically resume when motion is detected.
