That is the time of Response and this sprint for rescue and survival will be fraught with its own mentality and obstacles to overcome. Once outside of the first 72 hours you begin to move toward Recovery, and this piece is a marathon. You need to realize it will be long and winding road with constant change where scalability and flexibility will be the keys to success.

The massive influx of people clamoring to begin clean up, repairs and return to normalcy will sweep through. This will create a heavy demand on resources and infrastructure.
