Globalstar, Inc. (Globalstar) owns and operates the Globalstar Mobile Satellite System and, through its subsidiaries, Globalstar gateway earth stations, as well as satellite services and equipment distribution businesses in the U.S., Canada, Western Europe, Venezuela and Central America. Globalstar is a Delaware corporation formed as a limited liability company in late-2003, to acquire substantially all of the assets of Globalstar, L.P. (GLP) in GLP's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case in Delaware. The acquisition was consummated in April 2004, and GLP was dissolved in June 2004. The limited liability company Globalstar LLC, converted to Globalstar, Inc. in March 2006.

Globalstar was not affiliated with either GLP or Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd. (GTL), both of which have been dissolved. GTL was a Bermuda company whose shares traded publically under the symbol GSTRF. GTL was a limited partner of GLP.
